Software Engineer - Toolbar Development
We're looking for a candidate who has experience in building Browser plug-ins and toolbars. A deep understanding of Browser object models, JavaScript, and CSS is required. Come and become part a team that is building a product which is quickly becoming the application of use for business and enterprise users.
Requirements
- Specific Demonstrable Experience Building IE & Firefox Toolbars
- Prior experience building toolbars for IE directly utilizing base Windows APIs (not .NET)
- Thorough understanding of the Document Object Model and techniques and pitfalls of DOM manipulation
- Good understanding of the browser security models
- Windows Development Experience
- 3+ years experience as a senior developer with in-depth knowledge of the Windows SDK and Win32 API
- Extensive experience with COM, ATL, STL, XUL and Web Services
- Working experience with MSI and web based (ActiveX) windows installation technologies
- Excellent Understanding/Experience with Web Technologies
- Have extensive knowledge and solid experience with XHTML, CSS, and Ajax/JavaScript
- Have experience with REST, XML-RPC, XPATH, and XSLT

Senior Software Engineer – Web Application UI JavaScript expert.
We seek a JavaScript programmer with strong CS fundamentals and who has been known to have Firebug, and IE Script Debugger running simultaneously. We are not particular about the years of professional experience but a passion for web technologies and optimizing the user experience is a must.

Responsibilities
- Front-end Web Application development, creating client-side interaction using (X)HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Determine new shared libraries, wrapper classes, and other features to incorporate into the application platform.
- Collaborate with server-side programmers to optimize scalability and network efficiency
- Ensure high volume, high performance, stability, and support of the features that you personally create and contribute.
Qualifications
- Expert in JavaScript, XML, XHTML, and CSS
- 2+ years of JavaScript software development experience
- Knowledge of browser compatibility issues when using JavaScript and CSS
- Requirements gathering and analysis skills
- Comfortable in a Linux, JBoss, Apache, MySQL environment
- Highly flexible and extremely efficient, don't mind multiple iterations on the way to the right answers.
- Highly desirable - social web applications development experience.
