Intel Corporation and Connectbeam Sign Joint Marketing Agreement

Companies join forces to market Connectbeam's Social Software Applications Appliance

Mountain View, CA (August 29, 2007) - Connectbeam and Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC) have entered a joint agreement to market Connectbeam's Social Software Applications Appliance for the enterprise. Connectbeam's social software application is packaged as a turnkey appliance that brings the information-sharing, collaboration and ease of use of sites like MySpace and del.icio.us to the daily workflow of businesses in a secure and scalable environment. The Connectbeam Appliance helps workers locate relevant sources of information, and discover and connect with knowledgeable workers, enabling them to build dynamic social networks of fellow employees.

Intel's Jason Powell, innovation manager at the Software Solutions Group said, "Connectbeam is leading the way in delivering high-impact productivity applications to businesses in a turnkey configuration. The Connectbeam Appliance and software architecture are fine-tuned to Intel's multi-threaded and multi-core processors. We are excited to be partnering with the leader in the emerging field of social software for businesses."

To introduce Connectbeam's software appliance to a broader audience, Intel will open its Channel Marketplace to Connectbeam and will enroll it as a member of its Software Partner Program. In addition, Intel and Connectbeam are jointly developing promotions for distribution partners outside the Channel Marketplace, and Intel will promote the Connectbeam Application Appliance at trade and consumer shows. Intel IT will also participate in creating a Connectbeam case study.

Connectbeam founder and CEO Puneet Gupta said, "We are deeply pleased to be partnering with Intel. Intel continues to push the envelope in computing power that in turn powers our enterprise-class appliances. Access to Intel's Channel Marketplace for our Social Software Appliance is a gratifying validation of our software application, and of our delivery model."

The Connectbeam Social Software Appliance sits behind a company's firewall and includes an integrated set of social software applications: Social Bookmarking and Tagging, Social Networking, Communities, Expertise Location and Live Profiles. Connectbeam Appliances are now energizing communication and collaboration at Procter & Gamble, Computer Science Corporation, Booz Allen Hamilton and other companies where innovation and teamwork are key business drivers.
