Why are all my tags displayed in lower case?
Connectbeam stores and displays all tags in lower case for a number of reasons. When looking at a tag cloud, a seldom used tag in all capital letters may easily stand out more than a tag that was in lower case yet applied many more times in the system. Also, having mixed cases for identical tags would make each version unnecessarily unique (ex. Aeronautics would be separate from aeronautics). Moreover, we feel that utilizing all lower-case tags promotes simplicity and reduces complexity.
